Key Project Features:

The facility was built on a green-field site.

The facility comprises of two four-storey blocks constructed adjacent to each other interconnected through corridors on each floor.

The total constructed area for production block was 26000 sq meters, this includes warehouse & change areas.

The blocks has manufacturing sections for three finished dosage forms viz. Tablets, Dry Powder Suspensions and Liquid Syrup Suspensions.

In addition to the manufacturing sections the facility has warehouses for RM, PM and FG, change rooms and service area for placement of AHUs and services. Ancillary blocks included utility block, electrical panel room, HT and LT yard, ETP area, fuel storage area, Scrap Yard and Security Cabins.

Project Execution:

A key design aspect for layout includes unidirectional flow of men and material, segregation of processing area with mechanical area and gravitational charging of material from Granulation to blending, compression and packing machines.

Vacuum transfer system was designed for the transfer of sugar up to 16 meters in the main liquid section from warehouse area.

HVAC system was designed with ISO 8 air for all the core production areas with the pressure differential to avoid cross contamination.

The area is designed with floor level return pickups with filter to achieve an Efficient airflow pattern.

All the utility equipments were planned considering utilization factory of each section, to have flexibility in operation of each section during full load & non peak Hours.
